D'Arcy is a freelance audio engineer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and multi-media artist based in N. SEA. She has an exhaustive track record working in studio settings and live venues, and more recently has been working out of her residential recording studio - Sauna House Recorders Collective. D'Arcy was born in Morningside, grew up in Seattle, and has spent most of her life pursuing her passion for music and audio engineering. She attended courses for audio engineering at Shoreline Community College, later transferring to attend Robert Lang Studio Academy in late 2019. She was trained there by several accomplished engineers, including Kevin Younkins, Rachael Field (Resonant/RFI Mastering), Chris Rahm (Allen Stone, Taking Back Sunday), Jakael Tristam, Eric Janko (Sunny Day Real Estate, Janet Jackson, etc.), and Jesse Field. During her time interning and working at Robert Lang, she worked on sessions for many notable artists and producers, including Adam Kasper (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, R.E.M., Soundgarden, Pearl Jam etc.), John Goodmanson, Josh Rawlings and Jeremy Jones (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis), Keith Lowe (Fiona Apple), Aidan Gallagher (The Umbrella Academy), Instant Crush, Seiichi, among others. She head-managed design and construction on the now aborted Albatross Engineering recording studios in Edmonds in 2023-24, before moving into and building out her current residential studio, nicknamed The Sauna. The studio soft-opened in late 2024 and is outfitted with a hybrid-retro setup, based on a 1980s Panasonic-Industrial Ramsa recording console and restored 1990s Alesis ADAT system, among lots of other obscure and modified gear. She is fairly involved in the underground local music scene, running live sound for open mics and helping out with house shows and smaller venues. D'Arcy also has ran a solo recording project since 2020, Anons Infidelity - self described as "powergaze" and often venturing into alternative pop-rock, post-punk, folk-rock, and triphop as well. "I am a freelance engineer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and media replicator. I love all things analog. Music has been a passion of mine as far back as I can remember. I'm most inspired when working with unconventional projects and recording methods. I also run a solo project, Anons Infidelity. My mission is to expand the representation and creative boundaries for music makers in the LGBTQ+ community."
